Comex Group S.r.l. is proud to announce a historic milestone in the industrial cooling sector: the supply and commissioning of the first low-temperature LiBr absorption chiller, powered by hot water, with a capacity of 1.5 MW, installed in Italy. This pioneering installation represents a quantum leap in energy efficiency and sustainability, demonstrating Comex Group‘s commitment to offering cutting-edge solutions.

The heart of this innovation is our GENIUS 150 LT LiBr absorption chiller, an engineering excellence that allows reaching chilled water temperatures down to 1°C. This unique capability has been successfully implemented in a major glass manufacturing company in Tuscany, revolutionizing the tempering process, ensuring precise temperature control and unprecedented operational efficiency.

THE PROJECT

This project is not only a technological first, but also a virtuous example of energy efficiency.
