Comex Group, a company specializing in energy recovery solutions, has recently completed a successful energy efficiency project for a textile company in Germany. The goal was to reduce the costs and environmental impact of the textile drying oven plant.
Thanks to the installation of IESI, an innovative heat recovery unit, it was possible to recover heat from the saturated air exiting the oven and use it to preheat the external air for renewal. This led to a significant increase in system efficiency, with fuel savings of 142,400 sm³/year of methane gas and a reduction in CO2 emissions of 272 tons per year.
